With the guidance of Carolina Rosas Heimpel, we explored vermicomposting – a creative way to transform kitchen scraps into nutrient-packed plant compost. Carolina shared her expertise and brought her worms to to guide us through the process.

We learned how to harness biological waste for our garden's benefit, turning trash into treasure. Today, our school still reaps the rewards of this workshop as we continue to use the compost we created to nourish our plants.
